• Former Siberian Husky Breeder Faces Felony Charges For Abandoning Her Dogs

    Deborah L. Hosler of Hosler's Huskies in Michigan plead guilty to abandonment of animals, a felony that is punishable by up to four years in prison. For now, however, she was placed on a five year probation, ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and will complete 200 hours of community service. She is also prohibited from owning, possessing or caring for any animals during the five year period. Although she did plead guilty, we'd like to see a bit harsher a punishment for her crime.
